Some cool new ideas

Hello everyone!

I thought this might be a neat project to try. Thanks to Denise Davis for putting this pattern out there for us!

Here's the instructions

This cloth, knit in the round, features a double flower (consisting of 8 identical sections), surrounded by a seed stitch border. It might look a little complicated but it really isn’t.

Materials: 1 Ball Worsted Weight Cotton
5 Double Pointed Needles 4 or 4.5 mm (you can knit it with four, but I prefer 5)
Instructions: Cast on 8 stitches, 2 on each of 4 needles, join, careful not to twist Row 1 (and all odd numbered rows up to and including row 21): Knit
Row 2: *yo, k1* [8 times] (2 stitches per section)
Row 4: *yo, k2* [8 times] (3 stitches per section)
Row 6: *yo, k3* [8 times] (4 stitches per section)
Row 8: *yo, k4* [8 times] (5 stitches per section)
Row 10: *yo, k5* [8 times] (6 stitches per section)
Row 12: *yo, k2 tog, k4* [8 times] (6 stitches per section)
Row 14: *yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k3* [8 times] (7 stitches per section)
Row 16: *yo, k3, yo, k2tog, k2* [8 times] (8 stitches per section)
Row 18: *yo, k5, yo, k2tog, k1* [8 times] (9 stitches per section)
Row 20: *yo, k2tog, k5, yo, k2tog* [ 8 times] (9 stitches per section)
Note: The instructions from here on in are for every row! Row 22: *yo, p1, yo, k2tog, k6* [8 times] (10 stitches per section)
Row 23: *p1, k1, p1, k7* [8 times]
Row 24: *yo, k1, p1, k1, yo, k2tog, k5* [8 times] (11 stitches per section)
Row 25: *(k1, p1) 2 times, k7* [8 times]
Row 26: *yo, (p1, k1) 2 times, p1, yo, k2tog, k4* [8 times] (12 stitches per section)
Row 27: *(p1, k1) 3 times, p1, k5* [8 times]
Row 28: *yo, (k1, p1) 3 times, k1, yo, k2tog, k3* [8 times] (13 stitches per section)
Row 29: *(k1, p1) 4 times, k5* [8 times]
Row 30: *yo, (p1, k1) 4 times, p1, yo, k2tog, k2* [8 times] (14 stitches per section)
Row 31: *(p1, k1) 6 times, k2* [8 times]
Row 32: *yo, (k1, p1) 5 times, k1, yo, k2tog, k1* [8 times] (15 stitches per section)
Row 33: *(k1, p1) 6 times, k3* [8 times]
Row 34: *yo, (p1, k1) 6 times, p1, yo, k2tog* [8 times] (16 stitches per section)
Row 35: *(p1, k1)* [8 times]
Cast off.
